Professor Dr. Graham Kendall

Professor Dr. Graham Kendall is Senior Vice President and the Chief Executive of the Good Capitalism Forum (GCF) where the forum will be a platform for some of the world’s leading industrialists, politicians, thought leaders and celebrities to voice their views on what it means to be a good capitalist. GCF wants to encourage, high level, high quality, constructive debate and opinions through a variety of mediums, include physical events, online events and publications.
Graham started his career as a computer operator, rising to hold senior positions in the Information Technology sector. He is a fellow of both the British Computer Society and the Operational Research Society, and he holds honorary and distinguished professorial positions at universities in Hong Kong and India.
Prior to joining the PETRA Group, Graham worked in Malaysia for 10 years, being based at the University of Nottingham’s campus in Semenyih where he was the CEO and Provost, and also a Pro-vice Chancellor of the global University.
Graham has a 1st class degree in Computation from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). He also obtained a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham where his research focussed on solving real world problems through the use of Operations Research, and utilising Artificial Intelligence methods which are based on Charles Darwin’s principles of natural evolution. He has written over 250 peer reviewed papers and has served on several editorial boards including being the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions of Computational Intelligence and AI in Games and an Associate Editor of the Journal of the Operational Research Society.
Taking up the positions in PETRA and GCF means that Graham returns to his industrial roots, with a mandate to develop exciting new initiatives, which he hopes will reach a worldwide audience and become globally recognised. He will utilise both his industrial and academic skills, enabling him to achieve the challenging goals that underpin GCF.
